Nine Years and some change to be exact.

I originally wanted to keep this preserved as a small time capsule to what I was like as a kid. It's funny how much has changed, and how much of my younger quirks are still kicking. The site has changed a lot as well, so many new up and coming animators all over the web. It's wonderful to see NG alive and well, especially since FnF seems to have brought a lot of new interest; a new generation of kids eager to be raised on esoteric internet humor.

It's hard to think of how far the Internet has come, and even harder to avoid feeling Nostalgic to when this website was a testament to the Wild West days of the Web. While it's sad that the simpler times and familiar days are over, its wonderful how much more accessible animation, game dev, music creation, and so many more forms of creativity are accessible to people of all ages nowadays. So many more budding creatives who have access to the classic content I grew up on, who can go on to make content for the next generation. It's a beautiful, irreplaceable thing, perfectly captured by the timeless headline, "Everything, by Everyone"

While I can't be nearly as active here as I used to, I'm finally starting to fulfill a childhood dream of making my own esoteric content. Voice acting, digital art, music, all things this website introduced me to, I've started to finally make my own content, so I'd like to start posting it here for archiving/sentimentality's sake. For Posterity's sake, I'll leave as much as I can on my profile unchanged outside of submissions.

I'm around 10 years behind the curve so my work is extradentary crude, but it's work that I'm happy that I can call it my own. It'll be interesting to see how much I can make, or if any of it will age well, but I'll finally have some output inspired by the countless content creators who helped make me who I am today.

Even when I leave this site again, when I inevitably come back again, I'll at least have some work of my own to look back on. It'll be nice.
